A fiberglass omnidirectional collinear antenna is a type of vertical base station antenna designed to transmit and receive radio frequency (RF) signals uniformly in all horizontal directions (360°) within the 824–896 MHz frequency range, commonly used for cellular (GSM/EDGE/CDMA), two-way radio, trunking systems, and other UHF wireless communications. It is built as a collinear array — a stack of multiple radiating elements aligned vertically and phased to act as one continuous radiator. This collinear stacking increases gain and pattern efficiency compared to a simple quarter-wave whip, while retaining a circular, horizontally even signal distribution.
